My new Singer Industrial machine arrived within 10 days of the order. Delivery was done by CEVA.However, a few things that were detailed with the order were missing! i.e. the COMPLETE packet of accessoriesdid not arrive with the machine! The word COMPLETE means that is what will be needed to actually use themachine as the manufacturer would plan! Amazon folks are wonderful, and are going to replace this machinewith another that hopefully includes all the accessories! When that arrives, then I can rate this as 5 stars!Awesome pricing and service kudos to AMAZON.COM!

Janome Industrial Sewing/Quilting Machine 1600P-DBX

Great heavy duty metal machine. Quality built however don't use metallic thread. It really makes a mess. The instructions are minimal at best. It took me alot of trial and error to finally get everything set right. Sews beautifully and I'm very happy with it now. Had to call the seller during the metallic thread fiasco and they were extremely helpful and very patient.

Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond Sewing Machine with Embroidery Unit

I have had the Viking Diamond for 4 years. I decided I deserved an up grade after 30 years with my little Kenmore. I went to the fair and watched a demo. Loved what I saw and signed on the dotted line to buy it. Got it home and could not make it sew. I went to Quality Sewing and took their free sewing lessons. That helped but I was still having problems with thread getting bunched up in the bobbin compartment. I went to JoAnn's craft store and discovered the Viking section in the store. Wonderful sales gal took me by the hand and gave me more lesson on Saturdays. I learned how to use the different interfacings for embroidery. I learned about threads, needles, and presserfeet. Yes it took a lot of education to make my machine work, but a lot of things have changed in sewing since I bought my little Sears Kenmore. I now go to an annual sewing expo to keep up on my learning. Love my Diamond - it was the antiquainted owner, not the machine that needed tweaking. I have even treated myself to a Huskylock Serger. I can make anything I want and it looks great.

JUKI HZL-F300 Sewing and Quilting Machine

I recently purchased the Exceed 300 by JukI and I love the machine. Since the 600 is more well equipped (for quilting)and the same cost, I would definately consider it at this point. But then I quilt. General sewing, monograming, and quilting once you find and buy the additional presser feet is easy and comfortable. You can be as complex as you need to be, or keep it simple. Caution, if you move your machine around a lot, this one is pretty heavy.

Janome Memory Craft 6500P Computerized Sewing Machine

I purchased this machine while my Baby Lock Quest is still in the shop being repaired (it's been there since August 29th)! This machine is very similar to the Baby Lock Quest--they are both professional computerized machines with loads of decorative stitches, several buttonholes, two styles of monogramming, and many other utility and everyday stitches. This machine has a knee lift, which is great when turning corners or anytime you need to lift the foot off the fabric but still need both hands. It has the BEST foot storage compartment container that I have ever seen or had with a sewing machine (I have been sewing for over 40 years)! There is a thread cutter button that I have never had before & absolutely love--it cuts the thread when pushed after stitching and you only have about 1/2" of thread left on the fabric. It has a large extension table that's a dream to use when quilting or sewing any project. Another of the wonderful features is an independent motor when rewinding a bobbin, which can be done while sewing! The arm and the bed space are extended which is fabulous when quilting or sewing a large project. There is NOT a free arm on this machine, which is the only thing I do not like about it. It does have so many other capabilities and features that make this machine really fantastic and wonderful to own.

SINGER Futura CE-250 Computerized Sewing and Embroidery Machine

i got this machine thinking it would be fun for home projects. it took 4 tries to get one that actually worked right, and the one i have is constantly not working well. I follow all details to a T and am pretty technically savvy, but it doesn't matter. i have had it about 6 months, and have had it not worked right approximately 75% of the time.for every project you need to do at LEAST one practice try to make sure it is working. i have ruined more fabrics than i choose to think about due to this.also: the autopunch is nice, but it is NOT easy to use. it takes a very high quality image to translate well - need my own software for that, and does NOT do letters without a lot of help.this machines sews fine.if you want to spend a lot of time on hold waiting for trouble shooting help, or $$$ shipping it to get repaired- get this machine.otherwise- save your money and simply go get a professional to embroider for you- it is NOT worth the hassle this machine has given me.

Janome 350e Memory Craft Embroidery Machine

I've been using the 350E for several weeks now, and I LOVE it. It is my first experience with an embroidery machine, and was so easy to learn how to use. I have had a Janome Memory Craft sewing machine for many years now, and have always been pleased with it. So, I wasn't looking to buy a sewing/embroidery machine combination. After looking at many of the other models on the market, and deciding that I wanted an "embroidery only" machine, the Janome 350E won hands down. The quality of the stitching is great. And, it has features that are only offered on some of the more expensive models made by other companies. As mentioned before, it is very easy to use right out of the box. I purchased it from a local dealer, and was given a lesson right there in the shop. I was operating the machine on my own within about 10 minutes. There are a few quirks that seem to be peculiar to the 350E. One issue is that, while the display screen is very easy to see and user friendly, the setting for it's clarity changes on it's own while I'm embroidering. I have to reset it's brightness/contrast several times in a sitting. The model in the showroom did the same thing and I was told that it's just the way it is. This certainly wasn't a deal breaker for me, but a little irritating that Janome has not been able to get this right. The other quirk that I found is that the "low bobbin" warning doesn't always work. Again, I have read that this is another issue with the model, in general.…

Janome 1600P-DBX High Performance Sewing Machine By The Each

I purchased this machine with a quilt frame package about a year ago. The Gracie quilt frame is long gone (I personally disliked using it) but kept this machine. Right from the box I was able to get started. Instructions are clear. It is a workhorse of a machine. It quilts / sews on all types of fabrics. I am a fiber artist who uses non-conventional materials in my quilts and this machine handles them with ease. One word of caution: Be careful with feet that are not Janome brand. I have purchased a couple that state they are for this machine, but do not work. I will only buy Janome brand for this machine now.

The updated version of this model is TL2010Q. Don't be fooled into buying the TL2000QI. The later has less features (no speed control) and less standard feet. You can get the 2010Q for less than what the 2000QI is selling for.

Janome Memory Craft MC 9500 Sewing and Embroidery Machine w/ 90 Built-In Embroidery Designs + 98 Sewing Stitches + 3 Embroidery Fonts + Monograms

I've had this machine for two years and it is great! I use it for all kinds of sewing...quilting clothes making and defiantly embroidery! It is like having a sewing computer. My mom is almost 60 and she had a few " what's wrong" moment but if you look at the screen it will tell you. It tells you when the bobbin is running out and the presets are great. The embroidery takes patience because you have to put the embroidery hoop on your fabric just right so that your embroidering will come out just where you want it but once you have that it is seamless. Even the preset embroidering with more than one color is totally doable. Great machine!

Janome MC-6300P Professional Heavy-Duty Computerized Quilting Sewing Machine w/ Extension Table, Walking Foot, Darning Foot and More!

Lots and lots of things I want to say about this machine .. and they are all good, well great really! I had a Simplicity machine that was over 20 years old, worked fine but had it's faults. My sweet husband gave me "free rein" for my birthday/Christmas to get a new machine and this is what I settled on (at my local quilt shop). I was going after the 11000 but the price was an issue I hadn't expected :( So, I have this awesome machine and, like the other reviews, have had zero problems with it. I'm not a proficient enough quilter to run the thing as fast as it will go, don't really know who would need to go as fast as this thing appears that it will go, as I can barely get past the first arrow, but it sails nicely. The bobbin winder works so well, so fast, it scares me :) But it works, unlike the one on my Janome 350e! Love the auto thread cutter, the knee-lifter, the extension table, all the additonal feet that came with it ... the drop in bobbin was a real treat for me too (from the 'old way') ... and all the stitches, some of which I have used more than once already. Made a Bible Cover for my Mom and put a pocket inside and attached the pocket with one of the dressy stitches :)** OH, the very BEST part ... the 11" sewing area !! I've got an ACRE now compared my 8" Simplicity! **The one thing I don't like is the lack of the free-arm .. I do not sew clothing, but I don't like being limited either. If I don't want to be in free-arm 'mode', I want that to be…
